Pipeline for the Advancement of the Healthcare Workforce Program (PATH)
PURPOSE:
To create, support, and expand the opportunities of individuals in the nursing pathway and select healthcare pathways to obtain credentials and degrees that allow them to enter and/or advance their careers in the healthcare industry. Additionally, this grant aims to address the shortage of workers in the healthcare industry that have been exasperated by the COVID 19 pandemic. Twenty-five (25) million dollars for a grant period of July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023. For the grant period July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024, the Governor’s Budget Proposal includes $25,000,000. This is subject to appropriation by the General Assembly.
