My name is Jaleel Harris. I am 26 years of age, studying Business Administration here at South Suburban College. My experience here as both a student and an employee has taught me a variety of values. Most importantly, I have learned the significance of acquired knowledge & service. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once stated “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?” My plans after SSC are to further my career in Psychology/Sociology and start my very own foundation focused on the needs of “at risk” youth in Illinois. I am honored to serve my students and community facilitated through the amazing opportunity I’ve been awarded as the ICCB Student Board Member. Here at SSC, It is our mission to serve our students and community through Lifelong Learning. With pleasure, this is a mission I will honor throughout my professional journey; one I will stand by and cherish when performing my responsibilities with the ICCB. |
