Language Access Services

 ICCB makes translation services available to persons with Limited English Proficiency. A Google Translate widget is provided at the top of each web page to provide translation of the website. ICCB also provides telephonic translation services, print translation services, and American Sign Language. Information and request forms are provided below. ICCB provides request forms and other vital documents pre-translated for the 6 most commonly spoken languages in Illinois. Anyone needing additional assistance or has other questions can contact the ICCB’s Language Access Coordinator using the information at the bottom of the page.

Requests for Telephonic Interpretation Services with ICCB Staff

ICCB will provide language access services as needed for conversations with staff regarding any constituent issues. Telephonic interpretation services can be arranged in advance. Complete one of the forms below and send to the Language Access Coordinator listed on the form.

Requests for ASL Interpretation Services at Public Meetings

Please complete this form if you would like to request American Sign Language services at a public meeting held by the Illinois Community College Board. An interpreter will be scheduled to provide services at the meeting. Requests should be made two weeks in advance to ensure services can be arranged. Vital Documents

In addition to the documents provided on this page, ICCB has identified its Cook County high school equivalency (HSE) request forms as vital documents for translation for constituents seeking services. ICCB provides those in both English and Spanish, which are the only languages used by testing vendors. The forms are available on the Cook County HSE website at https://www2.iccb.org/cookcountyhse/.

Illinois Constitution Module website for State of Illinois High School Diploma candidates is available in both English and Spanish. There is a language selection link in the top right of the site. https://ilconstitution.org/

An Illinois Constitution test preparation booklet for State of Illinois High School Diploma candidates is available in both English and Spanish specifically for use in correctional facilities without Internet access. Correctional staff should contact the Language Access Coordinator for copies.
