HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY TESTING  |  ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF COMPLETION  |  ILLINOIS CONSTITUTION REQUIREMENT  |  HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA FOR ADULT LEARNERS PROGRAM

Illinois residents who did not earn a high school diploma can earn a State of Illinois High School Diploma by completing their high school equivalency (HSE). 

The State of Illinois High School Diploma can be earned by:

  • Completing HSE testing through GED or HiSET.
  • Completing by using Alternative Methods of Credentialing.
  • Completing the Illinois Constitution requirement.
  • Complete a High School Diploma for Adult Learners Program. (Rockford Area Only)
