Suzanne Morris was appointed to the Illinois Community College Board in 2003 and is currently serving as the Illinois Community College Board’s Vice Chair. Early in her career, Ms. Morris worked as a public information coordinator for the College of Lake County, a community college in Grayslake, and later as a marketing consultant for a number of government and business clients. Ms. Morris has served as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the Department of Children and Family Services system, served on the College of Lake County Foundation Board, was appointed to the Higher Education Finance Study Commission in July, 2010, represented the ICCB on the IBHE Blue Ribbon Task Force on MAP Funding in December, 2010, currently represents the ICCB on the Midwestern Higher Education Compact, and is a marketing and public relations consultant.
