Direct Admissions Information for Illinois Community College Administrators

The State of Illinois passed PA 104-0015, establishing a Direct Admissions program to provide a free and simple pathway for Illinois students to apply to college.

Direct Admissions allows Illinois high school juniors to utilize One Click College Admit to receive admissions offers, based only on their GPA, to their local community college and participating Illinois public universities, without having to submit essays, letters of recommendations, or paying an application fee.

One Click College Admit will also allow eligible Illinois community college students to transfer to four-year public universities in Illinois with the same simplicity and ease.

Simplifying the application process and basing admission on GPA will make it easier for students to advance their college career, see the higher education opportunities available to them, and make it clear to every student that a college education is an option for them.

No application fees.
No essays.
No letters of recommendation.
