The Illinois Community College Board is the statewide coordinating agency for the Illinois Community College System and the Adult Education System. The colleges and adult education providers are located statewide and enroll more than one million students annually. The Board’s administrative offices are located in Springfield and Chicago. Its primary responsibility is to administer the Public Community College Act and to conduct the coordination activities and provide the regulation therein assigned to it.

Information Technology – Several positions in the IT Department have become vacant, and we are opening new positions. The IT Department works with the following: UNIX, VMWare, Exchange and Windows Servers, DNS Server, Active Directory, Network Administration, SQL Database, COBOL, Fortran, SAS, ColdFusion, and Delphi. These positions are covered under the State Universities Civil Service System. The salary ranges are from entry level at $30,000 to management at $58,100.
