• Labs: SKYPE, Initial Switch configuration, VLANS, demo lab

Day 2

• Packetized Telephony
• Digital interfaces…what are they, configuration
• Network topology
• Labs: Installing power supply, network cards, IOS download and installation, firmware download and installation
• Labs: configuring the router, subinterfaces, DHCP, IP phone setup

Day 3

• Analog Interfaces
• Dial-peers and voice-port configuration
• Ephones and ephone-dns
• Protocols, H.323, SIP, MGCP
• Phone features and setup
• Labs: configuring the router, phones, using CallManager Express

Day 4

• Call plans
• IP to Analog and back again
• Challenge labs

Day 5

• Wrap up and final project
• A look at Unity
