JOB OPPORTUNITES The Illinois Community College Board is the statewide coordinating agency for the Illinois Community College System and the Adult Education System. The colleges and adult education providers are located statewide and enroll more than one million students annually. The Board's administrative offices are located in Springfield and Chicago. Its primary responsibility is to administer the Public Community College Act and to conduct the coordination activities and provide the regulation therein assigned to it. The Board is seeking applicants for the following vacant position(s): CHICAGO Associate Director for Adult Education & Family Literacy-Program Support. This full-time position will report to the Director for Adult Education and Family Literacy and will be based in the Northern Region of the state. The position serves as the liaison for the ICCB and local grant programs. Responsibilities include direct support for designated programs, assist with Area Planning Councils, assist with the Adult Education Advisory Council, and other duties. Salary Range: $35,000-$37,200, annually, dependant upon qualifications and experience. Application Deadline: Position remains open until filled. SPRINGFIELD Director for Academic Affairs. This full-time position will report to the Senior Director for Academic Affairs and Career & Technical Education. This individual will be responsible for academic affairs projects including transfer programs, developmental education, college and career readiness, and academic alignment and transition efforts. Other duties include working with articulation initiatives, AAT approvals, Recognition reviews, and program review reporting. This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement with Local 6348 IFT/AFT, AFL-CIO. Salary Range: $42,000-$46,500, annually, dependant upon qualifications and experience. This full-time position will report to the Director for Career and Technical Education. This individual will be responsible for performing staff functions primarily associated with coordination of CTE grants, projects, and activities associated with the federal Perkins postsecondary program. Other duties include facilitating CTE conferences, performing grant file reviews, maintaining the Programs of Study website, assisting with Program Review, and assisting with Recognition. This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement with Local 6348 IFT/AFT, AFL-CIO. Salary Range: $27,500-$29,700, annually, dependant upon qualifications and experience.
