The Illinois Community College Board is the statewide coordinating agency for the Illinois Community College System and the Adult Education System. The colleges and adult education providers are located statewide and enroll more than one million students annually. The Board's administrative offices are located in Springfield and Chicago. Its primary responsibility is to administer the Public Community College Act and to conduct the coordination activities and provide the regulation therein assigned to it. The Board is seeking applicants for the following vacant position(s):

SPRINGFIELD

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
RESEARCH AND POLICY STUDIES

The Assistant Director for Research and Policy Studies reports to the Senior Director for Research and Policy Studies. The position assists in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating data on community colleges, adult education providers and other grant programs administered by the Illinois Community College Board. Salary Range: $27,500- $29,750.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
STUDENT DEVELOPMENT

The position will report to the Senior Director for Student Development and responsibilities include monitoring student services issues and working with the student development programs and activities at community colleges. The position will work closely with the Student Advisory Committee, Lincoln's ChalleNGe Academy staff, and the Phi Theta Kappa committee. The position is under the State Universities Civil Service System and a test may be required. The test will be arranged upon verification of minimum qualifications. Salary Range: $35,000-$37,200.
