JOB OPPORTUNITES The Illinois Community College Board is the statewide coordinating agency for the Illinois Community College System and the Adult Education System. The colleges and adult education providers are located statewide and enroll more than one million students annually. The Board's administrative offices are located in Springfield and Chicago. Its primary responsibility is to administer the Public Community College Act and to conduct the coordination activities and provide the regulation therein assigned to it. The Board is seeking applicants for the following vacant position(s): CHICAGO SPRINGFIELD Associate Director for Career and Technical Education - Programs of Study. The position will report to the Senior Director for Academic Affairs and Career & Technical Education. This individual will provide technical assistance to community colleges, outside consultants, and other providers of postsecondary Perkins programs. Other duties include assisting with the interpretation of policies and procedures, participating in the development of new guidelines and review of current guidelines, and preparing/maintaining a procedures manual. This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement with Local 6348 IFT/AFT, AFL-CIO. Application Information.
