Spring 2007 Regional Perkins Transition Meetings
The Illinois Community College Board and the Illinois State Board of Education are co-sponsoring a series of regional meetings to support the state’s transition to Perkins IV. These gatherings are designed to engage critical CTE stakeholders and develop innovative solutions to the expectations and challenges of the new legislation. We are sure that the CTE community: teachers, administrators, and students, will benefit from this consultation. We want to make the most of Illinois’ transition to Perkins IV and secure the future of CTE for generations to come.

All meetings will take place from 10:00 am and conclude at 2:00pm (unless otherwise noted). Lunch will be provided.

April 2: Lincoln Land Community College, Springfield (meeting time is 9:00 am – 1:00 pm)
April 6: Parkland College, Champaign Parkland
April 10: Chicago Public Schools: 125 South Clark Street, Chicago
April 20: Kishwaukee College, Malta
May 7: Rend Lake College Marketplace, Mount Vernon
