To assist in carrying out its mandate and to formulate policy, the Illinois Community College Board collects data from the community college system as well as other providers of services via grant programs. Data is collected annually through the standard data submission process, through the annual grant reporting cycle, and through surveys on topics of special interest. Data collected and maintained by the ICCB fall into three main categories: demographic information about enrolled students and degree recipients, faculty and staff information, and characteristics of individual colleges and providers.
