Egyptian Mathematics

Course

MATH 112 (Math for Elementary Teachers) or MATH 111 (Mathematics for Life)

Description

This module is set up to investigate the methods used in ancient Egypt for doing multiplication and division. A discussion afterwards can cover how this multiplication process relates to the distributive property of multiplication over addition.

Transferability

This module could transfer to any basic, general studies math course.
