Remainder Pattern for 9s

Course

MATH 112 (Math for Elementary Teachers) or MATH 111 (Mathematics for Life)

Description

This module will investigate finding remainders when doing division on a calculator. Students will specifically study the remainder pattern for division by 9. The remainder for 9 will be used in checking a U.S. Postal Service Money Order code.

Transferability

This module could transfer to any basic general studies type of math class.
