Cost
If the computer and software is readily available, there is no additional cost. If the software has not been
purchased, there are two options. The first is to purchase a copy of Mathematica. For precollege educators,
Mathematica is $195.00. For students, Mathematica is $139.95. For the rest of the population,
Mathematica
Professional Edition is $895.00. Of course, they have licensing programs that you may want to investigate
as well, which may affect the cost of the program. The second option is to use a graphing calculator.
If you do not have a graphing calculator, one can be bought at any electronic retailer for around $100.00.
