Illinois State Board of Education
The ISBE site is a reliable place for Illinois teachers to obtain access to information about issues that are
relevant to their daily lives in the classroom. The school report cards are available online. A map shows the
Regional Office of Education service areas, and calendars list opportunities for professional development workshops.
Links help a teacher connect to special programs such as Health/Life Safety, Homeless Education, eLearning,
Assistive Technology, etc. Details regarding the TRS and average teachers' salaries in Illinois are housed here.
People interested in Paraprofessional certification will find help here. This is a small sampling of the information
housed on this site.
