Recording professional development for multiple instructors at once – A DAISI Tutorial All programs are required to enter professional development activity in DAISI for instructors. While professional development activities can be entered for a single instructor, this tutorial provides a brief overview of how to enter a professional development activity for multiple instructors at one time. This feature is especially helpful when entering professional development when, for example, many of your instructors attended the same training activity. Recording multiple EL Civics competencies for multiple students at once – A DAISI Tutorial EL Civics competencies* should be completed and recorded in DAISI for all students funded with EL Civics dollars. These can be recorded individually for a student or for multiple students at once. This tutorial outlines how to record multiple EL Civics competencies for multiple students at one time. Entering competencies through this method greatly decreases the amount of time spent on data entry. This clip will open into your Windows Media Player. Mac Users download Flip4Mac to play the video.

Changing how students are funded in a class – A DAISI Tutorial Often users need to alter the funding source used to support instruction for a student. While this can be done for an individual student, sometimes it is more convenient to change the funding source for multiple students at once. DAISI Reporting Features – Reference Guide This document provides an overview of the Custom Reporting features available in DAISI. It provides a detailed explanation of each of the 10 steps involved in creating customized Ad Hoc reports and the options available through Ad Hoc reporting.

Utilizing the Stacked Class Feature This document is a step by step guide for creating a Stacked Group and associating classes with that stacked group. It also outlines the requirements for creating a Stacked Group.

Creating classes in DAISI to utilize GED-i This document outlines the various ways in which classes can be created in DAISI to utilize the GED-I program. Step by step instructions are provided to create classes using GED-I for instruction as an At a distance, Supplemental or Hybrid class.

DAISI – Creating Address labels using Microsoft Word This document outlines the steps to follow to merge a txt file from DAISI into Microsoft Word to create address labels. Prior to using this guide, the user must create an Ad Hoc report in DAISI and save it as a txt file. The steps outlined in the document will then allow that file to be imported into Microsoft’s Mail Merge feature.
