Dual credit is an instructional arrangement where an academically qualified high school student enrolls in a college-level course and, upon successful course completion, concurrently earns both college credit and high school credit. Dual Credit is governed by ICCB Administrative Rules (section 1501.507-11) and the Dual Credit Quality Act.
Dual Credit Enhancement Grant
This is a competitive grant funded by the Illinois Community College Board in fiscal years 2014, 2015, and 2017. The purpose of the grant is to support the development, enhanced delivery and evaluation of local dual credit programs and to expand student access to higher education while maintaining high academic standards. Grant deliverables include:
- Participate in periodic conference call updates as requested.
- Provide information about your project at statewide events as requested.
- Provide midterm and final programmatic reports.
- Submit a final expenditure report.
