CARL SANDBURG COLLEGE DIGITAL MANUFACTURING SHOWCASE AT GALESBURG HIGH SCHOOL

Sandburg joined more than a dozen national manufacturers for the trade show-style showcase, which was hosted by the Galesburg Area Vocational Center to show area high school students the possibilities available to them in the career and technical workforce.

Students learned about the dozens of CTE programs offered at Sandburg, including the new computer numeric control operator (CNC) programmer and CNC operator certificate programs. Students in each of these programs have the opportunity for paid internships through partnerships with area businesses Pegasus Manufacturing and Midstate Manufacturing.
