Understanding Country Data

Description

Develop a spreadsheet of available data about countries in a specified list (such as a region of the world); and use it to compare, describe, and analyze the countries and the list as a whole.

Transferability

This module is targeted at geography, but it could be used in some political science and comparative economics course with little change. This exercise may also be used in an introductory statistics course or a computer applications course focusing on productivity software.
