Governor Quinn and Lake Land students rally for
restoration of Monetary Award Program (MAP)

Students from Lake Land College (Mattoon) flank Governor Pat Quinn at the October 15 student rally in Springfield. Students from across the state participated in demonstration of their support for restoration of Monetary Award Program (MAP) state funds for the 2010 spring semester. MAP grants help students with more limited means defray the cost of tuition at Illinois colleges and universities.
